Yamil Kouri – Cuba
A stamp collector since the age of 8, he started exhibiting in the late 1970s. Since then he has been involved in many aspects of philately, as exhibitor, judge, editor, author and speaker. He also has had a role in multiple organizations at the local, national and international level. His collecting interests are numerous, and are now mainly focused on Cuba, Spanish colonies, maritime and military mail. He is vice president of the Inter American Federation of Philately, member of the board of vice presidents of the American Philatelic Society and president of Boston 2026 World Expo.
 

Guillermo Federico Gallegos – El Salavador
Mexican / Salvadoran, currently lives in Mexico City.
Stamp collector since around 1986, he specialized in El Salvador in 1998, focusing on postal history, prestamp, 19th century issues and proofs.
Exhibits:
o The Prestamp Period of El Salvador (Postal History) has won a FIP Gold medal at London 2022 and a FIAF Gold medal at Buenos Aires 2019.
o The Allegoric Issues of El Salvador (1887-1889), a one-frame exhibit won 92 points at CAPEX 22 in Toronto, and 90 points at AMIFIL-EXFILIMA 2021 in Peru.
o El Salvador FIP Commissioner at NY2016.
Books: Together with Joseph Hahn, he has written two handbooks about the postal history and philately of El Salvador, an area seldom covered by philatelic literature.
o The Prestamp Period of El Salvador (1525-1866), published in 2015 by the Collectors Club of Chicago. It won several awards including the 2015 Bronze Posthorn for Postal History Literature in Sindelfingen, the 1st Place in the category of Print, Digital Media and Promotion of Youth Philately of the 2015 C.G. Awards in Monte-Carlo, a FIP Gold Medal at New York 2016, a FIAF Large Gold Medal, and the FIAF Alvaro Bonilla Lara Literature Award in 2016.
o The 19th Century Issues of El Salvador (1867-1900), was published by the Royal Philatelic Society London in 2021. It won a FIP Large Gold Medal at London 2022, a Large Gold Medal at Chicagopex 2021, the 2022 Crawford Medal and the 2022 Lewandowski Award by the United Postal Stationery Society.
o In 2013, he collaborated in the chapter about the Kingdom of Guatemala for the book Los Correos Mayores de Yndias (the Private Postmasters in the Indies), published in 2014 by the Spanish Federation of Philatelic Societies (FESOFI).
• Articles: He has written more than 50 articles about El Salvador and Central America for The London Philatelist, ACADEMVS, the Collectors Club Philatelist, the FIAF Magazine, and the El Salvador Philatelist, an online journal where he was the editor and webmaster.
• Conferences: He has given more twenty-five conferences about Salvadorian and Central American postal history in Latin America, the United States, Spain and the United Kingdom, including at the Collectors Club of Chicago (2013), Collectors Club New York (2014), the Madrid Philatelic Society (2017), the Royal Philatelic Society of London (2017), the Collectors Club of San Francisco (2020 & 2022), the Royal Hispanic Academy of Philately and Postal History (2022), and MiOficina Philatelic Society (2020-2022).
• Member of the philatelic associations: Club de Monte-Carlo, Royal Philatelic Society London, Collectors Club New York, American Philatelic Society, Association Internationale des Journalistes Philatélique, United Postal Stationery Society, Mexico-Elmhurst Philatelic Society, International Society of Guatemala Collectors, Nicaragua Study Group, Society for Costa Rica Collectors, Jalisco Filatélico, and Salvadorian Philatelic Association.
• Corresponding member of the Royal Hispanic Academy of Philately and Postal History in Spain, and Fellow of the Royal Philatelic Society London.
• Member of the FIAF Postal History Commission (2012-2013), and a member of the FIAF Board (2014-2018).

 
Henry Marquez – Peru

Henry Marquez: Philatelic exhibitor since 1978, youth class, continuing to present, participating in traditional, Postal History, and one-frame categories. Winner of the 2012 APS One-Frame Champion of Champions; at FIP level runner-up for the multi-frame International Grand Prix in 2017.
 
Specialized in Peru for more than 45 years, authored more than 50 original research articles related to Peruvian philately of the XIX and XX centuries.
 
Co-founder of the Peru Philatelic Study Circle. Member of Asociacion Filatelica Peruana, American Philatelic Society, Collectors Club of New York and San Francisco, Fellow and representative to Peru of the Royal Philatelic Society London, Academico Correspondiente of Real Academia Hispanica de Filatelia, APS accredited judge specialized in traditional philately and postal history of Latin America.
 
Enthusiastic promoter of digital philately, combining my professional experience in the field of information systems with Latin American philately.
Main organizer behind the design and implementation of the most comprehensive online virtual library on Peruvian philately, containing around 150,000 pages of documentation, including official postal records, postal administrators’ memoirs, annual reports, magazines, books, and virtual exhibits, among others.

 Co-organizer and facilitator of ‘Mi Oficina Philatelic Society,’ a virtual group that promotes the sharing of philatelic information, mainly from Latin America, through online conferences recorded and organized in a reference video library available on Youtube.
