Gordon Eubanks
If Gordon was here to simply discuss his history as a microcomputer industry pioneer we would be treated to a terrific talk. But Gordon is also one of the premier philatelists in the United States. Gordon has built significant collections of the 1869 issue, the 1851-56 issue, Hawaii and is now the preeminent collector of the United States 1847 issue. I have known Gordon since 2006 and he can best be described as that rare philatelist who has the drive, knowledge and wherewithal to build major collections of distinction. Like all serious students, Gordon’s willingness to learn every philatelic detail of an item separates him from the majority of collectors in his class. Gordon’s collections have won the APS Champion of Champion award twice, Grand Prix National at World Stamp Show in NY in 2016. Gordon is involved in all aspects of Philately, whether it be exhibiting, volunteering or serving on the boards of numerous organizations. (Michael Perlman)
