Roger Brody’s philatelic achievements include research, literature, exhibiting and organizational service. His collecting interests ranges from 18th century documentary revenues to the stamps of the twentieth century United States.
Roger has published over 200 articles in The United States Specialist, the journal of the United States Stamp Society and twice received the Hopkinson Memorial Literature Award for the best research article in that journal. Other publications that have published his research include The Collectors Club Philatelist, Linn’s Stamp News, Philatelic Foundation’s Opinions Series. Roger also is an editorial contributor to the Scott Specialized Catalog
His 20th Century stamp and postal history exhibits have won high honors at national and FIP level. His “Series 1902 – Dollar Values” received the 2001 Collectors Club One-frame exhibit Grand and his “Jamestown, 1907” exhibit, the Club’s 2017 U. S. Modern Multi-Frame Grand. His single frame exhibits have twice won the Holyoke Friendship Cup.
He is recognized for his several “Fun in Philately” exhibits expanding the imagination and teasing viewers with faux stamps and postal history.
