This award was created in 2010 at the behest of Collectors Club member Alan Holyoake of the United Kingdom, in celebration of the friendship between the Royal Philatelic Society London and the Collectors Club. The award is given for the “Most Popular” exhibit at each annual One Frame Competition by secret majority vote of the members present. The Award is announced along with the other awards at the end of the competition, and formally presented at the Awards Dinner the following May. The Friendship Cup is on permanent display at the Club, and the name of each winner is added annually.
